Lhazo (Painting): Traditional canvas paintings
Jimzo (Sculpture): Clay, stone, or metal figures
Parzo (Carving): Wood, slate, or stone carvings
Shagzo (Woodturning): Crafting wooden bowls, plates
Shingzo (Woodcrafts): Building intricate wooden structures
Dozo (Masonry): Stone masonry for buildings
Garzo (Blacksmithing): Forging iron tools, utensils
Lugzo (Bronze Casting): Casting bronze bells
Troezo (Gold & Silver Crafting): Jewelry from metals
Tsharzo (Cane & Bamboo Work): Weaving baskets, mats
Thagzo (Weaving): Creating intricate textiles and fabrics
Tshemzo (Embroidery): Stitching patterns on tapestries
Dezo (Paper Making): Handmade paper from local fibers
Schedule
Each Traditional Art form is a 5 day workshop consisting of 5 weekdays: Thursday, Friday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Our instructors are practicing artisans are flown in from Bhutan and are qualified graduates from National Institute of Zorig Chusum Bhutan
